People of short stature

A male is considered to be of short stature if he is shorter than 165 cm and a woman if she is shorter than 150 cm. Short stature can be disproportional or proportional. It can be caused by genetic factors, hormone disorders such as growth hormone deficiency, disorders of puberty, or growth inhibition after radiation treatment.
